More often than not when we see protests featured in the media they are about the big issues that tend to attract big numbers and almost inevitably big controversy. Here we take a look at the smaller end of the protest spectrum where folk are focusing on local issues, women are protesting against sexist movies, Beatles fans are suggesting Ringo should run for president and proud parents are rightly demanding the return of Sesame Street to Channel 2.
