Publisher Kirsten Bjerregaard launched the annual magazine Design from Denmark in 1967. Bjerregaard’s publishing house said that her ambition was to produce a ‘design exhibition in the form of a book’. 50,000 copies of the magazine were distributed before it was renamed Design from Scandinavia the following year.

The publication featured a wide selection of furniture, textiles, lamps, art and craft work from the four Nordic countries Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Here are a few pages of the magazine, keep an eye out for two of our favourite futuristic homes, the Venturo and Futuro Houses.
