In the early Eighties there was a splash of colour on the UK music scene. A new wave of psychedelic inspired bands appeared – Mood Six, The Playn Jayn, The Times, The Marble Staircase and Doctor and The Medics, to name but a few.

The groovy movie is an hour long film that has rare and unseen footage of the psychedelic revival. There’s music from The Times and Mood Six, scenes from the Groovy Cellar club and The Regal shop, and The Doctor putting on an American accent.
