Psycho Calendar qu’est-ce que c’est
We’ve featured the almost Pythonsesque work of Push-Pin studios and their pseudo-psychedelic (don’t know if that’s the right expression but it sounds good) images and now we’re paying them a second visit to look at a calendar they designed for Hallmark cards in 1970.
Clearly the psychedelic bandwagon was trundling along at full-speed when this was designed and in places it works really well, parts of it have probably not stood the test of time quite so stoutly but when you start looking at the detail it is pretty impressive. Check it out below; after all, as they say on the cover – what have you got Toulouse?
