Feelin’ Alright – Isaac Hayes and The Osmonds

Since Traffic’s Dave Mason wrote “Feelin Alright” during a holiday in Greece at the age of 19, the song has been covered numerous times. Over the years artists such as The 5th Dimension, Paul Weller, Joe Cocker, Mongo Santamaria and the lesser-known Trinidad Oil Company have all had a go at covering the tune.

Isaac Hayes performed and recorded a version of the song for his 1973 Live at The Sahara Tahoe album. However, here we have “Black Moses” a year later teaming up with seventies pop sensations The Osmonds to perform the Traffic classic on their 1974 television special.
