Shop Around – Retro Retailing
Now it’s time to go back and look at retailing in more jubilant times. Back to when the phrase ‘Credit Crunch’ was unheard of and every shopping centre wasn’t a carbon copy of the one in the next town or city.
In this post we visit a car showroom and a sound centre in Australia. A loud orange striped Burger King and a funky Flagg Brothers store in New York. Then it’s back to Blighty to a shopping arcade in Preston during the seventies. We hope you enjoy window shopping with us and come back soon – We’re open 24 hours every day and all year long.
