Everyday People – The Streets of San Francisco 1971
Previously we’ve visited San Francisco in our Hippies of Haight Ashbury post. This time we go forward a few years to 1971 and take a look at the lives of the everyday people on the streets of San Francisco (No pictures of Karl Malden included). Most of these photos were taken in the Bay area of the city, from groups of bongo players and buskers to a courageous chap standing in a park dressed in a big collared red jump suit and a huge quiff – Super Fly!
